About this deal

As Jo says, I'm primarily using the harness now to prevent neck injury as it doesn't stop the pulling. He's at his worst when he needs a poo in the mornings ( I haven't got a garden, so can almost understand this ) but it still happens when he doesn't. before when Wilbury had a normal collar he was pulling so much he was nearly choking himself, now we can all walk with ease!

The other day I parked directly opposite the park gate, every time we went to cross the road he'd start pulling so I'd turn back, make him sit on the kerb again for a bit then try again.A friend's standard poodle though, pulled all his life, 8 years old, they got him a lupi and he goes perfectly in it, as soon as he felt the first little tightening of it he cottoned on, they've tried a choker collar etc and the lupi worked wonders. There are no metal parts in contact with the dog's skin and the point of steering is well down the nose and away from the eyes. I will take a video of Dixie on the extendy normally, and a video of her on the extendy with the Walkezee. This refund is subject to standard bank clearing times and depending on the payment method can take up to 7 working days. Just posted something about these on another site and it was suggested by pammy to post on here as well.

Also thought that now i have finn - i just wouldn't be able to cope with 2 dogs pulling me round the park lol (and yes finn is already taking after his mum on this one he'll end up with one as well once he is fully grown - although still plenty of time to try and train him out of it). The walkezee really isn't like a harness, its much better than the halti one because the front strap is not fixed so you have more control over the dog. Lot’s of dogs have shorter noses which means restraints like a head collar or muzzle won’t easily fit. i took him to the vet last week and he said it was rope burn from the Lupi so came away with cream to rub in the sore. was ok with a harness for a while, but then started pulling then got caught in some wire so we didnt use that again, so we tried the head halti, which he was ok with the first day then mad as ever.I personally prefer to walk a puppy on a harness until I'm confident that the pup will walk more or less steadily and not suddenly lunge towards/away from something as I'm wary of sudden stresses on young necks. My last collie learned to walk nicely using a lupi harness when he was young and would walk closely on a loose lead for the rest of his life after that - my current collie pulled against it till it rubbed so we ditched it for him and we're still working on nice on lead walking (he's usually off lead so it's taking us a while to work on on lead manners). Anyway i was going to have a look at these as Zeb is a puller and normal harness make him pull harder (think its a malamute in him! Frontline Combo combines the effectiveness of Frontline Spot-On with s-methoprene, which prevents eggs and larvae from hatching.
