While yes, some word choices in the dialogue could’ve been better (ahem, queen), I enjoyed her writing, I really did.I don’t want to say too much, because it really is best to go into this book blind, but you need to read it. Anyway, Avery just needed therapy and a spa session in the Bahamas for a month, she literally had the dough to do it.

Honestly, Kay Cove's writing shined during the spice scenes, she never missed (well, until one fateful scene). This author is so not a girls girl to the point where this might as well have been written by a man. It may make you out of your mind jealous of Avery having Finn, but it will make you smile, blush, and cry because of how amazing he is. There’s squirting, dirty talk, mirrors, lingerie, praise… if that’s not enough to convince you, guess what Finn’s pet name for Avery is?
