About this deal

Despite having all the same ingredients as its older sibling, there’s no trace of the words “Dairy Milk” on this bar.

Even if the sugary fondant center is a bit too much to handle all at once, the creamy milk chocolate and the gooey filling is a delicious combination.Cadbury is a master of creating hype around its NPD – you only need to look at the recent success of Caramilk and Twirl limited editions to appreciate this – and Twisted’s launch in May 2008 was no exception. The taste of a Creme Egg consists of a thick Cadbury chocolate shell containing a gooey, sweet fondant filling resembling the yoke and white of a real egg.

Dedicated Creme Egg fans will remember its countline spin-off Twisted, which launched to much fanfare in 2008, only to be withdrawn by Cadbury in 2012 following sales declines. at random intervals and "spitting" out some of its goo, before repeating the word again when the advert finishes. Very active - You exercise almost every day of the week doing high intensity training such as running, spinning, team or competitive sports. When I opened the wrapper, I saw that the bottom of the bar was flat, and it had a dome-shaped profile, with a series of 8 ribs jutting out as the thickness fluctuated along the way. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. i finally was able to get my hands on the minis this weekend for the first time…thank you very much hubby.

So, more than a decade after Twisted’s exit, is Creme Egg’s latest chocolate bar better positioned for success?

Obviously designed to look like it’s been twisted, the chocolate has a thick base, while the top is made of thinner chocolate and vaguely resembles a screw thread. Yes, true to style my first review of the year is in stark contrast to all the festive goodies of the last few weeks, and is Easter-themed.

This sounded like a good idea to me, as it might allow the great fun of eating a Creme Egg without the messiness. Ingredients: Milk, sugar, cocoa butter, glucose syrup, glucose fructose syrup, whey powder, cocoa mass, vegetable fats, emulsifiers, humectant, colour, flavourings. While I do love my chocolate from time to time, that chocolate egg is just a little too realistic looking. The creamy, milky taste of the chocolate, even though it is on the sweeter side, is a great contrast to the sugary filling and balances it out without dominating it. Bite into a deliciously thick Cadbury milk chocolate egg and savour its gooey, indulgent white-and-yolk fondant centre.

There are lots of other goodies that are similar but I don’t think they could possibly be as good as these would be. To ensure you are reviewing the most up to date information PLEASE CHECK THE PRODUCT PACKAGING BEFORE CONSUMPTION. This slightly freakish little bar of fun shows that Cadbury do still have what it takes to come up with something a little more interesting, even though strictly speaking nothing here is new. It’s nice that you can break the bar into a few sections as you eat, so that you don’t really have to consume the whole thing in one shot, unlike a creme egg.
