About this deal

As for notes, I’m getting lot of raspberry which elbows out somewhat aggressively the faint traces of leather/wood that cower in the dry down. No, it's the kind of breakup where the two of you are meant for each other but then one of you fails out of school and joins the infantry, or the other goes for a dream job on the other coast. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer. While I would not say Jasmine Wisp has beastly projection, it is certainly well-above average and this kind of scent trail is not often found in floral-fruity fragrances having some lighter playful tones.

Although the sample card they send with it is a good idea, I personally don't think it gives you the proper scent. Ooo, my , it literally took my breath away , a very strong alcohol smell along with { on me } a sour smell . I guess the smell is suede more than a hard polished leather, and so Luqawam pour Homme has a very bold leathery but suede aroma as opposed to the very light suede leather fragrances on the market (Suedois, Cuiron). I feel that Ambergris Showers is lighter and more suited to being worn during the day and Tobacco Haze holds a position somewhere between the two. I'm about to make a second purchase of this (I have some anxiety about some of my fav frags getting sneakily discontinued - dammit!Performance is a outstanding in that this fragrance lasts 12-hours and leaves a noticeably lengthy and prominent scent trail for 5-6 hours. Godolphin is just more sophisticated and posh in all the right ways whereas this one just goes right for the throat with that smoky incense, tobacco leaf, and amber, with the raspberry peeking its head out here and there. Of course, it may be better during evenings on hot days and it can be an all-day fragrance during cold months. Unless I am being fooled by Bulgarian rose (which is not in the official scent pyramid) or something, I am pretty sure it's jasmine. Every aspect of La Yuqawam – from its concept, notes to the premium packaging – reflects the ultimate in luxury.

I was greeted with a note on the wrapping from the seller thanking me and informing me there was a sample with the box which was a lovely touch, thank you for that and a great way to build a fanbase. I do appear to go noseblind to this after a few hours, as evidenced by compliments by others even when I thought it had long worn off. Hours after application the smell becomes beautifully balanced the top notes of L+T are still there but not "in your face". The love for this series transcends beyond the originally targeted Arab nationalities to international connoisseurs of perfumes, looking for a sophisticated and modern exhilarating oriental experience. Looking at other reviews, some say there's strawberry and tutti fruity sweetness while others say there's no trace of jasmine.Although I am a fan of leather scents and Rasasi, I can't get anything out of this one, even after trying it several times. I bought this perfume looking for that distinct L+T smell but now i think i love it more because of the great way it "matures" and tones down on the skin. IT SMELLS LIKE A PUNGENT SPICY CHEMICAL OVERLOAD THAT SHOULD BE LABELED AS A HAZARD TO YOUR SINUSES. the scent is lovely , but yes it's for young women in their 20's so not for me , there is a very obvious grapefruit in the dry down but it's goes very well with Tonka bean .

It's not a traditional or 'girlie' fruity floral because it has a strong amber/vanilla base and it is not as sweet. I can't seem to sense much of coconut or vanilla here, if they are present, they must be really well blended. Ladies, do yourselves a favor and put your hands on this fragrance if you want your man putting his hands on you.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. LaYuqawam series extends a classic yet modern feel full of elegance, refinement and prestige to oriental perfumery. It's a miracle how the brain is connected to the olfactory nerves, because the first time I had a sniff, I was really 7 again! Jasmine Wisp, women fragrance of LaYuqawam edition III, true to the DNA of the series celebrates confidence, irresistibility and timeless elegance through a highly distinguishing olfactory signature. For me, if you're not so scrupled as to need the "real deal", aka you're the kind of person that gravitates towards brands like Rasasi in the first place because you just can't hang with the fragbros and hypebeasts on Instagram, then La Yuqawam might be your frugal alternative.Perfume plays a much larger role in day to day activities of most Arab cultures, and it often isn't gendered or seen as just a luxurious frivolity for the upper classes like with Western mindsets, although alongside more-accessible brands like Rasasi, the Arab world still has its haute luxe brands too, sold almost exclusively to wealthy tourists, ruling and merchant families a la Spirit of Dubai. Of the three, La Yuqawam is also the least floral, as it has none of the rose that Godolphin has, no powderiness so to speak, and doesn't share the aggressive sillage of the Tom Ford. Whereby - sometimes something raspberryy comes through, but as if it had been candied - but this raspberry is very reserved. It's been a long time since I sampled Tuscan Leather proper, but I remember it feeling smokier than this.
