About this deal
Beginning with the second installment of the series, repertoire was licensed from Universal, Warner and EMI.
They all vary from one to five disc compilations (occasionally six disc), starting in 1986 and continuing to the present day (Jan 2023). Branson wrote, "He was notoriously grumpy before breakfast and loved his eggs in the morning, so I bought him the poster, framed it and had it hung behind his desk. Other songs I love and still regularly listen to on this edition are Push The Button, Biology, All About Us, Baby Goodbye (better than anything Blazin' Squad ever did imo), Lay Your Hands, Nine Million Bicycles, Hollaback Girl, Don't Lie and Getaway. album, from June to August in 1993, a series of ten, 40-track yearly collections were released on CD and cassette (but not vinyl), covering the years 1983 to 1992.I can only rate it 6/10 as a whole because of the large amount of filler but there are quite a few good tracks here. on 24 July 2015, the release dates in the UK and Ireland have been the same following the announcement of the Global Release Day campaign by IFPI, which became effective on 10 July 2015. For me personally the only downside tracks are Westlifes cover of Josh Grobans 'You Raise Me Up' (but then I'm really not a Westlife fan), Rachel Stevens (ditto), and Girls Aloud (ditto ditto).
Tracks with an asterisk (*) next to their title have also been included in special releases from the series. A standard 4-CD version is also issued in a gatefold "wallet" design, which retails cheaper than the mini-hardback books.Jo O'Meara, Craig David (Don't Love You No More), Texas, Lee Ryan and Eurythmics would've been my omissions picks.
