Terms & Conditions (in relation to Ticket Sales)
Purchasing Policy
Our goal at The Warehouse is to make your purchasing experience easy and efficient, so that you can attend your chosen event(s) as quickly as possible. The following policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase policies at the Warehouse. This policy incorporates our Terms of Use by this reference.
The Warehouse sells tickets on behalf of itself. This means that we set the ticket prices and determine seating arrangements. Tickets purchased/transacted through The Booth will be subject to terms and conditions applied by The Booth, which are available on their web site (www.thebooth.co.uk).
Event admissions are generally sold through a number of distribution points including online sales, through the venue and other physical outlets.
The Warehouse also holds no responsibility for events that are cancelled
or postponed outwith it's control, if this is a decision taken by entertainer/band,
etc (or their management) themselves. In turn, these bookings are sold subject
to the management’s right to alter or vary the program due to events
or circumstances beyond their control, without being obliged to refund monies
or exchange tickets.
The following are the rules or ‘Terms’ that govern the use of
The Warehouse website at thewarehousetheatre.co.uk (the 'Site') and all other
services offered by The Warehouse (the 'Services'). By visiting the Site and
using the Services, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms of use
and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing
the Site and Services.
The Warehouse reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective
immediately upon posting on the Site. Please check this page of the site periodically.
If you violate these Terms, The Warehouse may cancel your booking and/or take
appropriate legal action against you.
At the time of booking
When your booking has been completed The Warehouse will issue you with a
confirmation email/letter/tickets. It is your responsibility to ensure that
confirmation issued to you is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing
the response in line with your request made via the website or by telephone.
Bookings are sold subject to the management’s right to alter or vary
the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control, without being
obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
The customer has a right only to a seat value corresponding to that stated
in the booking and the management reserves the right to provide alternative
seats to those specified in the booking.
After booking
It is the responsibility of the customer to ascertain whether an event has
been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event
is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify the
customer of the cancellation once we have received the relevant information
from the entertainer/band, etc (or their management) . Please note that we
cannot guarantee that customers will be informed of such a cancellation prior
to the date of the event.
The Warehouse will not normally exchange or refund bookings. However, each
case will be judged on its merits.
The Warehouse reserves the right to cancel any booking which it reasonably
suspects to have been made fraudulently.
At the event
Admission to events will be at the discretion of and in line with the Rules
and Regulations of The Warehouse, organiser or promoter associated with the
booked event, who reserve the right to refuse admission.
In addition, it is the responsibility of the customer to produce, on request,
any booking reference provided by The Warehouse at the time of booking. Failure
to do so may result in the customer being refused entry to the event.
For any tickets purchased at a discounted concessionary rate, it is the
responsibility of the customer to produce all relevant proof of concessions
on arriving at the event venue. Failure to produce such proof of concessions
may result in the customer being charged an additional fee for full-price
tickets, or being refused entry to the event.
The customer must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements
and venue regulations whilst attending an event. Breach of any of these conditions
or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall
enable the venue or event management to eject you from the venue.
Event cancellation and rescheduling
If an event is cancelled by the performer, The Warehouse, acting on behalf
of the performer will make reasonable effort to contact bookers and refunds
will be made only to the credit or debit card which was used to make the booking.
The Warehouse will endeavour to refund all money within five working days
of receiving notification of a cancellation.
If an event is rescheduled by the performer, The Warehouse on behalf of
the performer will make reasonable efforts to contact bookers with the alternative
dates/times. In the event that the booker can no longer attend on the revised
dates/times, refunds will be made only to the credit or debit card that was
used to make the booking. The Warehouse, on behalf of the performer, will
endeavour to refund this money within five working days of receiving notification
of the rescheduled event.
The Warehouse regrets that it cannot refund the credit/debit card commission
fee on any bookings.
Complaints Procedure
The Warehouse is committed to providing a professional, fair, efficient, courteous and helpful service to all our users.
